Explore Grand Teton National Park in search of wildlife on this exhilarating tour by open-air safari-style vehicle in the summer (June 15 - August 31). At dawn or dusk, you’ll get the best chances of sighting bears, wolves, elk, moose, eagles and more on your safari adventure. Your naturalist guide will ensure your enjoyment and safety, teach you all about the park’s geology and ecology, and stop along the way to let you take photos of your gorgeous surroundings. This small-group tour is limited to 10 people, ensuring a more personalized experience.
Snowmobile trips last for an entire day. You will be picked up from your hotel room and taken to the Historic Heart Six Ranch located in the Heart of Jackson Hole with views of Grand Teton. We will take you to the Buffalo Valley Cafe where you will have the opportunity to purchase breakfast and then ride all day with a break at a historic lodge for lunch. We will return in the late afternoon where we invite you to sit in the lodge by the warm fire. Later when requested we will return you to your hotel. You can also stay at the ranch if you like. Day tours of Yellowstone begin from Teton Village, Jackson Hole and Jackson Wyoming. You will stop at one of the best delis in Jackson where you will choose items that go into your delicious sandwich. You will pay for the sandwiches or you can pack in the hotel before departure. All travelers will be provided with free cold water. On route into Yellowstone, your guide will allow you to use binoculars (provided) to view all of the different wildlife animals and scenic landscapes. You will pay park fees at the park entrance. Your one optional spot will be the Glacial Turnout and definite stops include Oxbow Turn out, Jackson Lake, Yellowstone Lake, Le Hardy Rapids, Mud Volcano, Hayden Valley, Grand Canyon of Yellowstone, Norris Geysers, Grand Prismatic Spring, Old Faithful and Castle Geysers. Your tour guide will lead you in a wildlife patrol where you may be able to see wolves, grizzlies, moose, elk, antelope and buffalo.
Join an experienced naturalist guide to explore Jackson Hole and Grand Teton National Park in search of wintering wildlife. The trip starts exploring the National Elk Refuge, home to thousands of wintering elk, hundreds of bison, bighorn sheep and an array of waterfowl. We will then head north along the western boundary of the refuge to Grand Teton National Park. Here we will travel along the southern park roads watching for wildlife and stopping frequently for photo-ops. You will see places like antelope flats, the small town of Kelly and have views of several mountain ranges that form the valley of Jackson Hole. Jackson Hole’s wintering wildlife is abundant with opportunities to see bison, elk, deer, moose, fox, coyote, bald eagle, trumpeter swans, and if we’re lucky, wolves. Along the way you will learn about the geology, history and ecology of the area. The route varies seasonally based on group interest, road closures and wildlife migration.
